Hypermarker Annual Meeting Brings Progress and Collaboration

The Hypermarker team held its annual meeting on 12 - 13 February in Leiden, the Netherlands. A total of 41 participants attended the event in person, including five patient representatives, to discuss the latest results, share insights, and plan the project’s wrap-up phase, as well as explore how to sustain momentum beyond the project’s lifetime. Key focuses of the meeting included reviewing the project timeline and aligning on expected outcomes and results. Discussions also addressed progress on the soon-to-be-launched Hypermarker clinical trial.

As in previous meetings, this year’s sessions reflected the team’s commitment to maintaining a structured and effective approach to achieving Hypermarker’s objectives. The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss potential exploitation pathways for the project with industry partners. The collective energy, expertise, and collaborative spirit displayed during the event promise an exciting year ahead.

Participants also had the opportunity to visit the laboratories and facilities at Leiden University, where the project samples are analysed, and gain insights into the technologies and instruments used throughout the project.

The consortium would like to thank Leiden University for their hospitality and all participants for their valuable contributions to this fruitful event.
