Metabolic profiling of PHYSIC trial samples marks a new step toward personalised hypertension treatment

Hypermarker is proud to announce a new scientific collaboration with Uppsala University, led by Professor Johan Sundström, expanding the project’s metabolic data sources to support precision treatment strategies in hypertension care.

As part of this partnership, samples from the PHYSIC randomised controlled trial will undergo metabolic profiling at Leiden University’s Metabolomics and Analytics Centre. These PHYSIC samples become the fourth source of data to be included in Hypermarker’s pharmacometabolomic analyses.

By integrating diverse datasets from multiple trials, Hypermarker is building the foundation for a robust clinical decision support tool that leverages individual metabolic profiles to guide antihypertensive treatment selection.

We look forward to the insights this joint effort will bring and to continued collaboration with leaders in cardiovascular research.
