6.2.25

First draft enriched with project data and cross-validated with new datasets

On 4-5th February 2025, a dedicated team of Hypermarker researchers convened at the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research (LACDR), Leiden University, to review and advance the first version of the project’s hypertension prediction model.

This initial draft, now populated with Hypermarker project data, was critically evaluated against additional datasets to ensure robustness and accuracy. The workshop fostered lively discussion and expert feedback, leading to the identification of several areas for model refinement.

The meeting, co-hosted by Leiden University and the University of Birmingham, marked a pivotal milestone in the project’s technical development. With new insights in hand, the consortium has charted a clear path for the next phase of model enhancement, one that keeps clinical relevance and patient outcomes at the forefront.
